"You'll
find a pleasant alternative for lunch at Richmond and point
streets, where the garden (and the terrific food) at Olga's
Cup and Saucer beckons passersby to stop and enjoy a bite and
a spot of shade. ..With the help of landscape designer Michael
Veracka, they've created a lush oasis in a sea of pavement.
Brilliant spring bulbs are followed by perennial blooms such
as corabells, sweet woodruff, soloman seal, and yarrow. Scattered
around these are oregano, basil, chives, thyme, and other herbs
used by the chef to season the delicious food which also shifts
with seasons.
My
favorite time to enjoy Olga's garden is the mid-afternoon, when
the lunch rush is over and everyone is back at their desks."
